Manufacturers often simply de-tune equipment for emissions compliance or to differentiate models – that leaves a lot of power on the table for YOU! We can generally match the power from the higher horsepower model in a series without the unnecessary cost increase – it’s just up to you to weight the machine properly for the new found power.

In many instances (for example in the Quad-Trac’s from the STX425 to the STX525 with the QSX) it’s basically the same engine but with a different tune and many $$$ in price difference; Same with the Deere “8R” series – it’s more or less the same tractor with the same 9.0L in the whole series.

What models can we tune? If you have a machine with an ECM – that is, if you have a machine with an electronically controlled fuel delivery system – we likely have a solution that offers you the ability to safely use all the power your machine is capable of. It might be easier to tell you what we can’t tune.

Our emissions-equipped tuning will increase the power and torque over the entire operating range of the engine of your equipment. Typically this allows the use of a higher gear or two and 2-300 fewer RPMs. Running less RPM at the same ground speed saves fuel.

Power Manager/Powergate:

These programming modules are the best hardware we can provide you with to tune your tractor. The handheld device comes with a USB data cable for the power manager to be plugged into a PC in order for tune files to be installed on the device. Along with the power manager you will receive a OBD cable that is designed to fit your specific tractor as well as be plugged into the Power Manager/Powergate. You’re going to love how easy it is to install custom tuning on your tractor. You’ll email us the stock file after reading it with your supplied hardware and we will email you back a custom tune file to install. If you know how to send emails or have ever used a scanner that plugs into the OBD2 port, you can do this. A basic PC laptop or computer, internet connection, and an email address are all you’ll need.
